Terms of Use

1Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for supervising use, managing advertising preferences, and authorising any purchases.

2Purpose of the App

MathWiz is an educational game designed to help you practise and improve mental-maths skills. The App provides:

• Practice modes across eight operation types, with adaptive difficulty;
• A daily challenge, timed and endless modes;
• Brain games (Balance, Number Memory, Fill the Grid);
• Arena Battle and Speed Sprint — competitive modes played against on-device opponents;
• Wiz, an on-device helper, and bite-size learning content;
• Progression features: XP, levels, daily streaks, badges and statistics.

3Licence to Use

Subject to these Terms, the Developer grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Developer.

To keep MathWiz fair and enjoyable for everyone, you agree not to:

5App Permissions

The App uses only minimal permissions. Granting them constitutes consent to their use as described.

MathWiz does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or access to your personal files. You may revoke the notifications permission at any time without affecting other features.

6Educational Disclaimer

MathWiz is a practice and entertainment tool. While it is designed to help you improve, the Developer does not guarantee any specific educational outcome, exam result, or improvement in performance. Content, difficulty ratings, and explanations are provided for general learning and should not be treated as professional tutoring, certified instruction, or a substitute for a formal curriculum.

7XP, Levels & Virtual Items

XP, levels, streaks, badges and similar in-app progress ("Virtual Items") have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred, and are stored locally on your device.

• Virtual Items may be lost if you reset progress, clear app data, uninstall the App, or change devices.
• The Developer may adjust progression mechanics, XP rates, or difficulty in updates.
• Because progress is stored only on your device, it is not backed up to or recoverable from any server.

8Arena & Simulated Play

Arena Battle and Speed Sprint are single-player experiences designed to feel multiplayer. Opponents, their pacing, names and chat messages are generated entirely on your device. They are not real people, there is no matchmaking server, and nothing you type in Arena chat is transmitted to any third party or other user.

Access to Arena Battle and Speed Sprint is a premium feature. Pro subscribers may play without limit; other users may unlock a single match by watching a rewarded video, where available. Rewarded-ad availability is not guaranteed.

9Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, graphics, the "Wiz" character, trademarks, content, and functionality, is owned by or licensed to Epsilon Developers (Satyam Kushwaha and Anurag Mahajan).

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App where prohibited by applicable law;
• Copy, reproduce, or distribute substantial portions of the App or its content;
• Redistribute the App outside authorised distribution channels (Google Play Store);
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
• Create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.

10Subscriptions & Purchases

The App offers an optional MathWiz Pro upgrade to remove advertising and unlock premium features. All transactions are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. The Developer does not directly collect or store your payment information.

10.1 Free Trials

Where a free trial is offered, it converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial expires. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged.

10.2 Cancellation and Refunds

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through the Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — Pro access remains active until then. For refund requests, contact Google Play support directly, as all billing is managed by Google. The Developer does not process refunds directly. See the Subscription & Refund Policy.

10.3 Price Changes

Subscription prices may change. Google Play will notify you of any price increase before your next renewal. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

10.4 Restore Purchases

Pro status can be restored on a new device or after reinstalling the App using the "Restore purchases" option in Settings, using the same Google account that made the original purchase.

11Advertising

The free version of MathWiz displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, which may include banner, interstitial and optional rewarded video formats. No advertisements are displayed to active Pro subscribers.

By using the free version, you consent to the display of advertisements. Advertising providers may collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP addresses, and interaction data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We have no control over the content of third-party advertisements. You may opt out of personalised advertising by resetting or deleting your Android Advertising ID, or upgrade to Pro to remove ads.

12Disclaimer of Warranties

The Developer does not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any particular learning outcome will be achieved. Your use of the App is at your sole risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

13Limitation of Liability

The Developer is not liable for loss of progress or Virtual Items, data charges incurred while using the App, consequences of relying on in-app content or explanations, or damages arising from third-party services integrated with the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.

14Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Epsilon Developers (Satyam Kushwaha and Anurag Mahajan) from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

15Termination

The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that the Developer believes violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 9, 12, 13, 14, and 16 — shall survive. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it; subscription billing obligations that arose before termination remain governed by Google Play's terms.

16Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.

17Miscellaneous

17.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Fair Play & Acceptable Use Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer with respect to the App.

17.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17.3 No Waiver

The Developer's failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

17.4 Changes to These Terms

The Developer may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, post a notice within the App. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17.5 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without prior written consent. The Developer may assign its rights and obligations without restriction.
