Yes. All eight practice modes, the Daily Challenge, brain games, Wiz and progression are free, supported by occasional ads. MathWiz Pro is optional — it removes ads and unlocks unlimited Arena & Sprint plus an XP boost.
Almost entirely, yes. Practice, brain games, Daily Challenge, Arena, Wiz and your progress all work offline because everything is processed on your device. An internet connection is only used to show ads (free tier) and to verify a Pro purchase.
No — Arena Battle and Speed Sprint opponents, their pacing and their chat are all generated on your device to feel like real racers. There is no matchmaking server, no real users, and nothing you type in Arena chat is ever sent anywhere. It's a single-player experience designed to feel multiplayer.
MathWiz reads your recent accuracy, streak and XP and quietly tunes how hard each session starts — so it ramps up as you improve and eases off when you're finding things tough. You can also set a preference (Standard, Easy, Medium or Hard) in Settings; Standard adapts automatically.
No account, ever. Your XP, streaks, stats and history live in a private database on your device. We don't run servers that store your personal data. You can erase everything from Settings → Reset progress. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy and Data Safety Declaration.
MathWiz is friendly for learners of all ages, but it is designed for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under 13.
